CLOSING

In accordance with government decisions, the museum is closed from October 30.

These measures, covering a period of 4 weeks, will therefore lead us to the usual winter closure. We therefore give you an appointment from February 15, 2021 for the reopening of the museum.

Exhibition “War in Peace”

Come and discover the new exhibition “War in Peace” visible at Fort Leveau for the first time!

Produced in collaboration with the Peace and Conflicts Association, the Bondues Resistance Museum and the Lille Gunners Museum, this new exhibition invites you to discover the context of the immediate post-war period.
Through 5 themes (commemoration, destruction, liberation, occupation and reconstruction), the exhibition paints a picture of the situation during the years 1919 and 1920 and draws a parallel with current events.

The exhibition is accessible on the usual opening days and times of the museum.

The fort and its museum will be open on Sundays August 23 and 30 from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Please note, to comply with the health standards in force, there will be no guided tour at 3 p.m., we apologize for this.

Leveau fort with lanterns

The fort and its museum will be open on Sundays June 21 and 28 from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

REOPENING MONDAY JUNE 8

The Fort de Leveau museum reopens its doors from Monday, June 8 at the usual times:

– Monday to Friday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

-The last two Sundays of the month from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Sanitary measures are taken to welcome visitors in good conditions:

-Visits are free and even on Sunday, there will be no guided tour.

– A one-way visit has been established with arrows and markings on the ground.

-Hydro-alcoholic gel is available to visitors upon entering.

– Wearing a mask is compulsory.

-Payment by check is highly recommended or in cash with the extra.

-In case of high attendance, access to the museum will be regulated.
